Mandators’ Victor Essiet finally comes home
After 12 years of musical sojourn in the United States, The Mandators' Victor Essiet is finally due home next Saturday.
The 17-member entourage will land in Lagos via Paris after departing Los Angeles, California a day earlier.
On the entourage are Mr. Roger Seeffans, acclaimed biographer of the legendary Bob Marley, three international journalists and 12-member band which includes sultry American singer/model, Bashirrah, who has promised to thrill Nigerians with a never-to-be-forgotten performance.
Arrangements are in top gear to accord Victor Essiet and his entourage a befitting welcome in his fatherland. The Mandators' homecoming is part of the group's "One Love, One World" world tour that has taken it to Jamaica, Canada and major states across America, including Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Louisiana, Florida and New York. Apart from major Nigerian cities like Abuja, Kano, Benin and Port Harcourt, The Mandators "One Love, One World" tour will land in Ghana, South Africa, Europe and Hait, alongside other Nigerian artistes.
The Mandators is billed to thrill Lagosians with a scintillating performance at the ultra modern Planet One, Maryland on Sunday, November 19, 2006. Expected to be a family extravaganza, the show will be used to officially present Mandators' current album, "One Love, One World" produced by the multiple Grammy Award winning duo of Sly Dunbar and Robbie Shakespeare.
The Mandators' homecoming is being co-ordinated by Nigeria's entertainment powerhouse, TOPS Limited.
