Despite the drama currently ensuing in the Ghana Nigeria industry of filmmaking, some filmmakers have ignored that and are forging on with making great relationships. New one is the big news of Yemi Blaq starring in the volcanic filmmaker Leila Djansis' new, bound-to-be mega hit "Sinkng Sands"

The ultimately fine Yemi Blaq plays a prominent role of Dr. Zach Mathews, a British African MD who becomes an anchor in the failing marriage of a Pabi and Jimah, played by Ama Abebrese and Jimmy Jean Louis respectively.

The story of the movie dwells on Pabi and Jimah a happily married couple who are living a peaceful life until disaster strikes in the form of a domestic accident which leaves Jimah with a scar. Unable to live with his new features, his anger and hurt turn him into a monster. The once peaceful relationship turns into abuse

The million dollar budget movie was shot on location in Ghana and is set for a November release across West Africa, after which it begins legendary festival rounds across the globe.

Other stars in the movie include Akosua Agyepong, the sexy Chris Attoh and Doris Sackitey.

I hope to bring you guys an exclusive interview with Yemi Blaq on his experience working in Ghana and working with Leila Djansi. As we wait, do enjoy the trailer and also behind the scene elements and photos.
