Nollywood agog for first ever Gala Night

Have you heard that the biggest swan song currently thickening like OBJ's third agenda (oh, sorry, I beg your pardon), is the forth-coming Nollywood Gala Night being put together by showbiz impresario, Ken Calebs Olumese and his Resource Team?

Already slated to hold in the month of June at Niteshift, Coliseum, Opebi, Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria's biggest entertainment and events venue, the red carpet event intends to celebrate all movie practitioners: Actors, actress, producers, directors, marketers and other stakeholders in the industry.

According to amiable Olumese: “The Nollywood night would be an evening of razzmatazz, thrills, frills and fun. It would also be a “red carpet” affair of international standard where all guests would be treated to the traditional Niteshift culture of excellence…”

Commending Ken, the Guv'nor of Niteshift for initiating such a laudable project for his dear Nollywood, star actor, Segun Arinze says: “It is definitely going to be a night of tribute to excellence, individual talent and the emerging tradition of Nollywood, which compares with the best that is available elsewhere in the world”.

Even though the invitation cards for the grand event are yet to be out, some reliable birds are already regaling me with gists about how most movie stars are already lobbying and scrambling in advance, for the I.V's, if na you nko?
