Nollywood actor, Femi Branch, was yesterday involved in an auto crash along Oshogbo-Ibadan road while returning to Lagos from a social function.

www.nollywoodgists.com learnt that the crossover actor lost control of his vehicle when a cow ran across the road.

www.nollywoodgists.com gathered that he tried not to hit the animal and his vehicle ran into a ditch. A source revealed that his car was partially damaged.

Branch was said to have been rushed to an undisclosed hospital by sympathisers at the scene when they realised he was an actor.

One of the sympathisers was said to have checked the victim's phone to contact some of his colleagues.

According to one of his friends, Yomi Fabiyi, Branch was unconscious when they rushed him to the hospital.

“I was the first person that was contacted. I was informed that he was unconscious in the hospital. I immediately contacted the appropriate authorities, including ANTP President, Prince Jide Kosoko. We have also contacted his family members and enjoined our colleagues to pray for him,” he said.

Fabiyi added that as at this morning, he has been informed that the actor is responding to treatment.

Branch, a crossover actor hit the limelight when he featured in Dominos, a Tajudeen Adepetu soap opera on television about two years ago
