Omoni Oboli Drags Ecomax To Court Over Film Jacket
Actress, Omoni Oboli and her hubby, Nnamdi, have taken the printing company, Ecomax to the law court.
Information at Klieglights' disposal has it that the stylish actress, who would be leaving the country alongside other artistes to Uganda soon on a six-day tour, decided to press charges against the Opebi-based printing company after several attempts to negotiate failed.
Inside sources claimed that Omoni felt her last self-produced flick didn't achieve the much-expected sales figure even after several millions had been expended on the production and launch because Ecomax had erroneously printed the name of the flick on another film. This error generated complaints from fans and colleagues, who had high expectations as regards the flick.
The star act in Kunle Afolayan's The Figurine, is determined to settle the feud in the law court, sources said.
