Burna Boy Sets Another Spotify Record With 56.5 Million Monthly Listeners
Afrobeats star Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has achieved another astonishing milestone in his career, becoming Spotify's most-streamed African artiste with 56.5 million monthly listeners.
The 'Last Last' crooner now leads fellow Nigerian 'Big 3' artists Wizkid and Davido, who have 18.6 million and 11.3 million monthly listeners, respectively.
The record-breaking achievement is largely driven by his collaboration with Colombian pop icon Shakira on 'Dai Dai,' which continues to dominate international charts. This latest feat adds to Burna Boy's growing list of global records, further solidifying his position as one of Africa's biggest musical exports.
The singer recently made history as the first African artiste to top the Billboard Global 200 and has also broken multiple streaming records on platforms like Apple Music and YouTube.
