"I Decided To Step Away When The Attacks Became Personal" – Nedu Reveals Reason For Quitting The Honest Bunch Podcast
Popular controversial on-air personality and host of The Honest Bunch podcast, Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, best known as Nedu Wazobia, has opened up about his decision to leave the show.
The Nigerian Voice recalls that Nedu’s decision follows criticism from self-acclaimed activist VeryDarkMan, who made several allegations against Nedu after hosting ex-Big Brother Housemate DeeOne on the podcast. During the episode, DeeOne alleged that VeryDarkMan is gay.
Following Nedu's exit from the show, netizens have been attributing his departure to the producers of the show, with many believing that he was fired.
Addressing the claims during a recent press briefing in Lagos, Nedu debunked the rumors and stated that he was the one who chose to quit the show because the attacks against him became personal.
"Let me clarify that I wasn’t fired from Honest Bunch Podcast. I decided to step away when the attacks became personal. So that the show can go on."
