Nollywood actor Kunle Afod is still mourning the loss of veteran actor Taiwo Adeshina, popularly known as Elegbeje Ado, who passed away on Monday, June 29, 2026, after a brief illness.

The Nigerian Voice recalls that the news of his demise was shared by Afod, who has continued to express his grief over the loss.

In a recent Instagram post, Afod shared a video of his first visit to the late actor after many years. He reflected on the fragility of life, expressing his sadness with the words "Hmmm this life sha." He also prayed for the actor's soul to rest in peace.

He wrote:
"My first visit to Baba Elegbeje Ado after so many years I saw him, lad.

Hmmm this life sha
May his soul rest in peace."
