"I See My Colleagues As Brothers" – Tems
Grammy-winning singer Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, has made it clear that she has no interest in dating Nigerian male celebrities.
The 'Love Me Jeje' crooner shared this during an interview at the BET Awards ceremony over the weekend.
When asked if she would consider approaching Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye, Tems admitted that while she knows who he is, she does not know him personally. However, she made it clear that shooting her shot is not something she would do.
She explained that Nigerian celebrities relate to each other as family, and she sees her male colleagues as brothers.
She said:
"I know who Maduka Okoye is but I don't know him personally. I wish I did though. But shooting shots at him, we don't do that over here.
"We [Nigerian celebrities] friend each others and we are family. I see my male colleagues as brothers."
