Prayer Is Needed To Tackle Insecurity – Adeyinka Alaseyori
Popular gospel singer Adeyinka Alaseyori has called on Nigerians to engage in spiritual supplications to tackle insecurity and provide a solution to the recent abductions.
Lending her voice to the pressing issue, Alaseyori asserted that the importance of prayers cannot be overemphasized.
She noted that the president may have ordered the armed forces to scan through forests to fish out the terrorists, yet they may be unable to locate them. She maintained that prayers will aid the efforts of the government.
She said:
"We need to pray. You can’t say the President and our armed forces are not working, they’re working. They might have sent security agents to the forest and something will just cover their eyes and won’t allow them see the terrorist, that’s where prayers come in."
