Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has explained the reason for his constant support for President Tinubu's re-election bid, ahead of the 2027 presidential elections.

Speaking in a recent episode of the Honest Bunch Podcast, Edochie claimed that he had received divine instructions from God. According to him, God has shown him President Tinubu and he has no choice than to support him.

The controversial actor, who is a staunch supporter of the president also emphasized that God is fully involved with him, and has shared where he should put his support in.

He said:
"Because I want to support him and God — I have said it before in an interview — God has always shown me who to support, and he keeps showing me Tinubu, and I am going to stand by him

I don’t know if he is involved on your side, but he is involved in mine; he showed me where to go."
