Nollywood actress Sunshine Rosman, has shared an hidden fact about her colleagues in the movie industry, addressing the regular notion that many of them are financially buoyant.

Featuring in a recent podcast hosted by her colleague Baaj Adebule, Rosman clarified that the idea that Nollywood stars are financially buoyant is an "overrated misconception."

She expressed surprise over the rationale behind such idea, maintaining that some Nollywood stars who have attained a great level of financial dependence are making it from other sources of income and not just the film industry alone.

She said:
"The most overrated misconception about Nollywood stars is that we have money. I don’t know why people assume we have money. Some of us do have money, but from other ventures. But many of us are struggling financially.”
