The Nigeria Police Force, NPF, has confirmed the arrest of street dancer, Lil Smart, over allegations by Naira Marley.

The arrest of Lil Smart was made public by the police spokesperson, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, who stated that he was arrested following a petition received from Naira Marley.

In a viral video on social media, Lil Smart could be seen paraded by the police over criminal defamation, cyberbullying, cyber stalking, and falsehood.

Police spokesperson, Olumuyiwa said, “Following a filed petition for criminal defamation, cyberbullying, cyberstalking and falsehood, the Force also secured the arrest of one Idowu Smart Emmanuel, who eventually admitted to his crimes and confessed that his allegations were false.”

The Nigerian Voice recalls that on December 9, 2024, Lil Smart took to his social media handles to share images suggesting he was in danger, attributing it to Naira Marley and Zinoleesky.

He said, “If anything happens to me (missing or killed), just know it is both Naira Marley and Zino."
