Nigerian philanthropist and businessman Olakunle Churchill, has showered praises on his wife and actress, Rosy Meurer, downplaying the rumours of an ongoing marital crisis.

Olakunle, whose marriage to Meurer has reportedly been facing crisis, doused the rumours by honouring the actress on Mother's Day.

In a post on his Instagram page, Churchill shared photos of Rosy Meurer, praising her for being an amazing mother and an incredible woman.

He further expressed his immense gratitude over her love and strength.

He wrote:
"Feliz Día de las Madres, Thank you for being an amazing mother and an incredible woman. I’m grateful for your love and strength.

Happy Mexican Mother’s Day in Mexico."
Recall that The Nigerian Voice previously reported that Rosy Meruer reportedly filed for divorce from Churchill on April 20, 2026.

According to the reports, Meurer allegedly filed a divorce due to Olakunle Churchill's relationship with his ex-wife Tonto Dikeh following their son, King Andre's 10th birthday some months ago.

Surprising, Churchill, while breaking his silence since the reports surfaced, stated that the marriage between him and Meurer was not legally binded.

According to him they only had an introduction without a court marriage, stressing that any divorce filing is "baseless."

This sparked widespread controversy on social media, with many netizens insinuating that Churchill had returned to his ex-wife, Tonto Dikeh.
