Lagos Police have arrested a young man at Iyana-Iba market road for illegally wearing a police uniform and as well as impersonating the officers.

The young man who was identified as Issa Majafara was first apprehended on May 6, 2023, for feigning to be a police officer; now, he is currently in police custody and will be arraigned in court.

In the photo circulated online, the young man who was paraded at the police station was seen wearing a police shirt, camouflage T-shirt, and a police cap.

After his arrest, the police recovered two police trousers, one camouflage T-shirt, and one police face cap. After he was interrogated, the suspect claimed to have found the police uniform in the dustbin.
