It appears that there may an ongoing beef between Nigerian singers Balogun Afolabi Oluwaloseyi, better known as Seyi Vibez, and Adekunle Gold.

In a now-viral post on the popular microblogging platform, X (formerly known as Twitter), Seyi Vibez fired shots at Adekunle Gold, leading to confusion over the cause of the shade.

Seyi Vibez labelled the 'Fuji' crooner as "wack," tagging his fashion as mediocre, adding that he is also an "old fool."

"Adekunle Gold, you’re wack, and your swag is wack. Old fool!."

Seyi Vibez's shade at Adekunle Gold has led to many netizens wondering the reason behind the shade. Many have speculated that the anger from Seyi Vibez could be linked to one of the lyrics of Adekunle Gold, where he asserted that his "Fuji" in his new song 'Life Of The Faaji' is more preferred to "Fuji Moto,' which is the title of one of Seyi Vibez's hit songs.

“They love my fuji / This one no be fuji moto."

Despite the call-out from Seyi Vibez, at the time of writing, Adekunle Gold has not yet reacted or responded to the dig at him.
