Nigerian musician Olawale Ashimi, has caused uproar on social media with his latest misogynistic claim.

In a recent Instagram post, the 'Banuso' singer stated that men who apologize to women when they are wrong deserve suffering.

He added that such men will face suffering, and face it till the end of time.

He wrote:
"Nobody deserves to suffer than men who apologize to women when the women are wrong.

“And suffer they will from here, and for the rest of humanity’s earthly existence.”

The singer's claim has since sparked numerous reactions on social media, with many lambasting for making such a claim.
