Timi Dakolo Opens Up On Gen z's Slangs Gained From Children
The trend of Gen z's slangs and phrases have become rampant in the society, as their ability to shorten words, and give phrases meaning in a different manner have now become the order of the day, particularly on social media platforms.
Nigerian singer Timi Dakolo, has shared his experience with his kids, and some of the words and phrases he has been able to deduce from their conversations.
In a recent Instagram post, he admitted that while being able to note down some of these words, he is struggling to insert them while talking.
He wrote:
"Words and phrases I have learnt from my children by just listening to them talk. Still struggling to insert them into sentences.
