Daniel Regha Slams Tacha For Overgeneralizing Men, Following Ozoro Festival Rape Incident
Social media, particularly the popular microblogging platform, X (formerly known as Twitter), has erupted into a series of gender wars, following the recent viral disturbing videos of women being harassed and sexually assaulted during the Ozoro Festival in Delta State.
Blowing hot over the despicable incident, Big Brother Naija ex-housemate, Tacha, has been making series of posts, lambasting men for sexualizing women. In her latest tweet, she urged people to do away with the notion that "it's not all men" that are involved in sexual crimes against women.
According to Tacha, "every" woman in Nigeria have been a victim of rape, sexual harassment, or sexual assault, noting how the same men who commit the abominable act move from state to state to commit further atrocities.
She also asserted that the number of false accusations of rape, sexual assault or harassment is a huge margin from the actual cases.
"when I hear, “It’s not all men” it’s funny to me cause every single woman in Nigeria has either been raped, sexually harassed, or sexually assaulted.
So please, who are the men that have been harassing, raping, and sexually assaulting these Nigerian women? Is it the same group of men that move from state to state, community to community and assault Nigerian women?
Please, how many men can come out and say that they have been falsely accused of rape, been raped, sexually harassed, or sexually assaulted? Now match that number with the number of women with these experiences."
Quoting Tacha's tweet, critic and celebrity tormentor Daniel Regha pointed out that her overgeneralization is not strong, citing how her father is a man, and also her previously flaunted mystery man.
Regha noted how the reality star is involved with several men in the entertainment industry at all times, highlighting how she worked with men during her latest Guinness World Record attempt.
Slamming her, he maintained that going by her generalization of men as rapists and sexual perpetrators; her family members who are men, including her friends, and mystery lover are also not left out.
"You (Tacha) have a father that is a man, and flaunted a mystery man one time u went abroad but quickly came back.
U associate with male colleagues in the industry all the time, and when u did ur GWR attempt a lot of men were working with u. Don't forget u were also speaking about men paying the bills for women in a restaurant upon meeting the first time and insisted that a man pays ur bills at the club before approaching u. Let's stop here for now.
If all men are either assaulters or have harassed a lady according to ur thinking, that means u are also pointing fingers at your family members and friends, and even your maybe lover.
You see why it's good to have w'sdom. The problem is that u type way faster before u th'nk."
