It is the birthday of one of Nollywood's Icon, Chiwetalu Agu, today, March 5.

The veteran star turns 70 in grand style, and took to his Instagram page to share new photos of himself, while wishing himself a happy birthday.

He wrote:
"Happy Birthday To Me, Iche Chief Chiwetalu Agu."
Chiwetalu Agu was born on March 5, 1956 in Enugu State, Nigeria, and is renowned as an actor, comedian, and movie producer, who blends Igbo language slangs and creative clichés in Nollywood films.

The actor's career kickstarted professionally in 1981 after studying dramatic arts in West Germany. He was part of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and featured in the iconic series 'Things Fall Apart.'

Agu's career has spanned several numbers of blockbuster movies, with stats showing that he has featured in over 300 films, including: Issakaba, Old School, and Living in Bondage, among several movies.

The veteran also clinched the 2012 Nollywood Movie Award for Best Lead Actor in an Indigenous Language for the film 'Nkwocha.'

He is legally hitched to Nkechi Agu, and their union is blessed with five children(three sons and two daughters).
