Iyke Okechukwu played an interesting character in the popular series, Tinsel, aired on a well-known cable television. Today, Wednesday, June 17, 2015, his daughter clocks one and the proud father is very excited about it.

In April 2013, Iyke got married to his pretty wife, Florence and a year later, they welcomed their first child together.

Though they met in their university days, but their love for each other blossomed while on the set of Tinsel, which has also produced other couples.

Celebrating his daughter's first birthday, Iyke wrote, "My lovechild, my Chinemerem Iheoma, my KC, with a smile that melts my heart, your stare that speaks a thousands words. You are one today. Just like yesterday when I held you in my arms, how tiny you were. Wow! Time flies.

"I pray that God, who gave you to us, will bless and protect you immeasurably, that He will never leave your side, and that He will always listen to you and grant your needs and heart desires. And most especially, He will assist your mother and I to raise you up to be a confident, God fearing woman some day. Amen."
