In a recent episode of the +44 podcast, Davido, the Nigerian afrobeats sensation also known as David Adeleke, revealed that his latest album, "Timeless," was his last chance to release an acceptable album. He explained that the 17-track album was a make-or-break moment for him and that he was delighted that his fans finally accepted it after his previous attempts.

Davido admitted that while recording the album, he had doubts about its success, but he refused to give up. On the day of the album's release, he sent everyone away, said his prayers, and went to sleep. However, he overslept and panicked when he woke up and couldn't find his phone. He searched the entire suite and went downstairs to his assistant's room, who congratulated him on the album's success.
