"Life Is Short" - Mary Njoku Emphasizes, As She Admonishes Public On The Importance Of Self-prioritization
Nollywood actress Mary Njoku has admonished the public on the importance of prioritizing themselves.
According to her, they should stop outsourcing happiness, but instead love themselves, and desist from depending on others for their happiness.
Speaking to mothers, she urged them to love their children, but also make time for themselves. She stated that they should take a break, and also place themselves first in some situations.
Reiterating her advice, the veteran actress stated that life is short, and everyone should note that those who are they are struggling for would survive once they are gone.
She wrote:
"Stop outsourcing your happiness!
Love yourself.
Never put the responsibility for your happiness on someone else; you will always come last if you put them first.
If you’re a mother, love your children, but love yourself too.
It’s okay to take a break.
It’s okay to rest.
It’s okay to be a little selfish sometimes.
Life is short.
You don’t know when it will end. One day, you could be gone. And you will be remembered for…, if you are remembered at all.
The people you think can’t live without you?
They will go on.
Some may even live better without you.
Love yourself.
Life is too short not to."
