Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has been honoured with the 'Most Outstanding Actor of the year 2025' by the Directors Guild of Nigeria.

The controversial actor made the good news public on his Instagram page, noting how he received the prestigious award while he was on set.

Expressing gratitude, Yul appreciated the award, wishing them greater heights and "uncountable successes." He also declared his intention to keep giving his best in the new year.

He wrote:
"Yesterday, members of the prestigious Directors Guild of Nigeria (DGN) visited me on set and presented me with an award of honour and recognition as the MOST OUTSTANDING ACTOR OF THE YEAR 2025.
