Burial Arrangements For 'Omije Ojumi' Crooner Cancelled - Alayo Melody

In a shocking development, the burial plans and arrangements for late gospel singer and Omije Ojumi' crooner, Bunmi Akinnaanu, has been cancelled.

The new development was made public by the late singer's colleague Alayo Melody, in a post on his Instagram page.

Alayo Melody, who had previously shared the full details of Bunmi's burial arrangements, took a u-turn to explain that the plans have been cancelled totally due to pressing issues arising "from and within her family."

He wrote:
"TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
This is to inform you that all plans & arrangements for the burial of our Late Sister & Colleague; *Lady Evang. Bunmi Akinnaanu a.k.a. OMIJE OJUMI* by the Burial Planning Committee has been CANCELLED totally.

This decision becomes necessary due to some issues arising from & within her family.

We are deeply sorry & regret the inconveniences sir/ma.

Ki Oluwa je ki Ojo o jinna si'ra won (Amin)."
The Nigerian Voice recalls that the gospel music industry was thrown into grief following the announcement of the death of 'Omije Ojumi' crooner, Bunmi Akinnaanu.

The shocking news made the rounds on Wednesday January 14, and was first made public by her colleague Alayo Melody on behalf of her family. The Yoruba gospel singer, via his Instagram page, shared a picture of his late colleague, sharing how she gave up the ghost in a Lagos hospital on Monday, January 12.

Days later, Alayo Melody shared an official poster containing details of the different burial rites and arrangements for the 'Omije Ojumi' crooner.
