The death of popular comic actor, John Ikechukwu Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu has shocked the movie industry and Nigerians, as many cannot seem to get over his death.

The latest person to show concern after the comic actor's death was his close friend, Charles Inojie who wrote a tribute to the late actor and his close friend,

Charles Inojie made many emotional as took to his Instagram handle to post pictures of the late Mr Ibu and candles, he described the late actor as someone who enjoyed peace of mind, but sadly he could not get it as he was in a constant battle with his health condition for years before his death yesterday, March 2nd, 2024.

Charles Inojie’s tribute goes thus; “Rest in peace, king. Yes, you can have it all now, that which eluded you the most. When it mattered the most...PEACE...The peace of mind to recuperate peacefully was a favour too expensive to oblige you. Now, it's all yours, bro. Revel in heavenly peace, infinitum. Rest... Rest... Rest in PEACE."
