Reacting to her latest achievement, an overjoyed Funke Akindele, in a tweet on the popular microblogging platform, X formerly known as Twitter, revealed that records are simply milestones, and not the main mission. Tooting her horns, she shared how her 2023 record-breaking movie 'A Tribe Called Judah' grossed N1Billion, and now her 2025 movie 'Behind The Scenes' has now grossed over N2Billion.

Funke expressed deep gratitude to her Maker, while emphasizing that her goal still stands, which is to keep using her craft to impact, stating that the work will eventually earn its applause.

"Records are milestones, not the mission. From A Tribe Called Judah grossing 1B to Behind The Scenes crossing 2B and still counting, this is God in motion. And i’m most grateful to my maker and return all the glory to him. The lesson remains unchanged: serve the story, respect the audience, refine the craft, and let the work earn its applause."
