“Stepping Into This Year Feels Heavy" - Hilda Baci Admits, As She Makes Vulnerable Post

By Oluwarantimi Oludase

Popular Nigerian chef, Hilda Baci, has made a post, addressing her confusion in the beginning of the new year.

The two-time Guinness world record holder, via her Instagram page, stated that her post is far from a new year post, but rather a moment of honesty. According to her, many people talk about the new year like there's a pause, however, it's another 24 hours filled with same responsibilities and the same weight.

Hilda Baci further revealed that the thoughts that comes with one being the main person and the one creating vision for every move makes it harder. She, however, appreciated her Maker for life and opportunity, while admitting that stepping into the new year feels heavy.

Advising those with similar experiences, she emphasized that they should trust in God, who in turn would make something bigger to happen to them.

She wrote:
“Not a new year post.
Just a moment of honesty.
We talk about a new year like there's a pause in between, but really, it's just another 24 hours.

Same responsibilities. Same weight.
It's easier when you're given direction.
Harder when you're the one creating the vision, making the calls, and carrying the outcome.

I'm deeply grateful to God for life and opportunity. And honest enough to admit that stepping into this year feels heavy.

Still praying for wisdom. Still trusting God to guide me.

And if you're here too carrying more than you say out loud have faith. God's got you.

Something big is going to happen.”
