"Been In The Game Since 1990" - Gbenga Afolayan Recounts Career Journey Following AMVCA Win
Popular Nollywood actor, Gabriel Afolayan, has recounted his career journey, following his award at the recently concluded Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards (AMVCA).
Recall that Gabriel Afolayan emerged victorious in the category of Best Supporting Actor for his role in 'Inside Life' at the 11th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards (AMVCA), which took place on Saturday, May 10th at the Balmoral Event Center, Victoria Island.
Taking to his Instagram page, the actor shared images of his awards, as he recounted how he started his career in 1990 as a child actor, took school break, returned back to acting in 2000, and became famous in 2005, and has been consistent since then.
He wrote:
"Got into the game since 1990 through Baba-Sala as a child actor.
School breaks.
Made a comeback in 2000.
Fame kicked in 2005.

Decades of consistent hard work
