“We Miss You, But Your Legacy Continues” - Kunle Afolayan Says, As He Marks 30th Year Remembrance Of Late Father
Nollywood filmmaker and producer, Kunle Afolayan, is celebrating the 30th year of his father's passing, Adeyemi Josiah Afolayan.
The veteran award-winning filmmaker, via his Instagram page, shared a video of his late father, revealing that it has been 30 years since his death. He stated that although he is severely missed, however, his legacy continues to live on.
He wrote:
“It's been 30 years since our father, Adeyemi Johiah Akano Afolayan, passed away.
We miss you put your legacy continue.
Continue to rest

Adeyemi Josiah Afolayan, the late actor, director, producer, and father of Kunle Afolayan, was renowned for his prowess in the Nigerian movie industry, particularly the Yoruba industry. He starred in several films before his passing in 1996. The late veteran is survived by 5 children, who are all big names in the Nigerian movie industry.
