Popular Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe, has penned a gratitude message to the public, following their support for her late mum's burial.

The Nigerian Voice recalls that Mercy Aigbe announced the passing of her mum, Abisola Grace Owodunni on Wednesday, September 24. She shared a candlelight on her Instagram page with crying emojis, while wishing her late mum to rest in peace.

It was also reported that a service of songs was held on Thursday, while she was eventually laid to rest on Friday, November 28th, and on Saturday, marked the celebration of her life with praise and thanksgiving.

Sharing a family photo on her Instagram page, the movie star noted that as they celebrated their mother with their grandchildren, they felt strengthened.

She further appreciated the public for the love, prayers, kindness and support.

She wrote:
"Yesterday, we celebrated our mother. Surrounded by her grandchildren and the love of friends and family, we felt strengthened. Thank you all for your prayers, kindness, and support. We appreciate you deeply
