"Consistency Is Key" - Kcee Shares Revelation About His Music Career
Nigerian singer, Kingsley Okonkwo, better known as Kcee, has opened up about some of his techniques that has worked out for him in the Nigerian music industry.
The singer, while speaking in an episode of the Selah Meditate podcast, stated that some of his colleagues in the music industry easily give up once they release a song, and it isn't an instant hit.
According to him, that is not his style, revealing that consistency is very important in the music industry. He shared how once he drops a song, and it does not become an instant hit, he keeps releasing more until he reaches that goal.
He said:
"Some of my colleagues they can drop a song and if it goes bad, they go back to their shell and they are sad. But that can’t be me.
I can drop 22 songs, maybe it is the 25th one that will become a hit. I don’t care because consistency is key."
