Popular Nigerian rapper and music executive, Olamide Adedeji, widely known as Olamide, has hit back at critics of his decision to label Wizkid the 'greatest Afrobeats artiste'

The Nigerian Voice recalls that Olamide in a viral interview declared Wizkid as the 'greatest Afrobeats artiste.' Olamide's claim hasn't sat down well with many netizens, particularly fans of Davido and Burna Boy, as they've been throwing shades at him.

Reacting to the backlash that has trailed his declaration, Olamide, via the popular microblogging platform, X formerly known as Twitter, stated that he is tired of the Big 3 conversation, stating that it's impossible to underplay any category of artiste.

According to him, everyone is entitled to their opinion, emphasizing that there is enough room for everyone to succeed.

Slamming his critics, he stressed that one thing that has consistently propelled the Big 3's success is because they are not narrow-minded to be affected by others perspectives about them.

He wrote:
"Honestly, this whole lengthy 3-way conversation is pretty much whatever. You can’t diminish anyone’s greatness, whether they’re A-list, B-list, or anything else. Feel free to believe what you want or support whoever you choose—there’s plenty of room in the sky for everyone."

However, one thing to remember is that Burna, David, and Wiz aren’t narrow-minded enough to get offended by someone else’s opinion or perspective. That’s part of why they’ve reached where they are today.”
