Popular Nigerian rapper and music executive, Olamide, has opened up on the influence of late rapper, Dagrin, in the lives of many rappers.

The YBNL boss, in a viral video, shared that he seeks inspiration from the late rapper's critically acclaimed album, ‘C.E.O’ whenever he is faced with creative block.

According to him the late singer's album is evergreen, as it has served as a source of inspiration for many other rappers, who go ahead to listen to the album for motivation.

Olamide said:
“Dagrin’s ‘C.E.O’ album is a timeless project. That’s the only rap album almost everybody in the south west can sing word for word. Dagrin influenced a lot of rappers, whenever we need motivation, we would go and listen to his album.”

Recall that Dagrin died in an auto crash in April 2010. However, his popularity skyrocketed after his death.
