Popular Nigerian singer, Stanley Omah Didia, better known as Omah Lay, has reacted to his first Grammys nomination.

Recall that The Nigerian Voice reported that during the 68th Grammys nominations, held on Friday, November 7, Omah Lay bagged his first-ever nomination with Davido on the record-breaking collaboration off the '5ive' album 'With You,' which was nominated in the category of Best African Music Performance.

Reacting to the nomination on his Instagram page, Omah Lay revealed his excitement about the Grammys nomination, however, he stated that he cares less about awards.

He further added that he wants Davido to win it, because the Afrobeats star is one friend who stood with him during his toughest times.

He wrote:
"I’m excited about this Grammy nomination haha but fr fr I don’t give a sh!t about awards. Yeah but I really want it for OBO! he is the realest friend I’ve had in while, he stood by during my hardest times."
