"The Version Of You That Got You Here Isn't The Version That Will Get You There" - Lateef Adedimeji Shares Important Advice About One's Identity
Popular Nollywood actor Lateef Adedimeji, has shared an important advice about one's identity.
The award-winning movie star, via his Instagram page, revealed that the old identity is like training wheels on a bike, noting how they get one started, keep one stable, and prevent one from falling, however, they become a stumbling block at some point.
According to him, the version that gets a person to a particular level isn't the same version that will get him to the final destination.
He wrote:
"Your old identity is like training wheels on a bike. They got you started, kept you stable, and prevented you from falling. But at some point, they become the exact thing holding you back.
The version of you that got you here isn't the version that will get you there. Let them go, even if it scares you." -Sharran Srivatsaa."
