The carpenter's ministry, has announced the passing of her presiding pastor, Pastor Nkechi Ene.

The church made the announcement on Instagram, revealing that the host of Freshdew TV, gave up the ghost on Wednesday, 29th October, 2025.

In a statement released by the church, it was disclosed that Pastor Nkechi Ene returned to Nigeria, exhausted following a successful and extensive ministry trip, which was marked by various miracles, however, she experienced a sudden health crisis in Lagos, and gave up the ghost.

A part of the statement read:
"Pastor Nkechi Ene Passes on to Glory It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing into glory of God's servant, our presiding pastor, our mother-in-Israel, Pastor Nkechi Ene, on Wednesday, 29th October 2025. Pastor Kech returned to Nigeria exhausted after a successful and extensive ministry trip, marked by miracles and testimonies. She experienced a sudden health crisis while in Lagos."

Many gospel singers including Neon Adejo and Steve Hills, have taken to their respective social media pages to mourn the late clergy woman.
