"My Dad Always Told Me I Am A Failure" - Spyro Recounts
Fast-rising Nigerian singer, Oludipe Oluwasanmi David, better known as Spyro, has revealed that while growing up, he was usually told he was a failure by his dad.
The "Who is your guy" crooner, while speaking in a recent interview with ace media personality Frank Edoho, he stated that the derogatory remarks from his father greatly affected him.
According to him, at a point, he was convinced that he was going to die poor, and began seeing himself as a failure.
He wrote:
“I thought I was going to die broke. I always had this fear of failure. And my dad contributed to that. He took every opportunity he got to always tell me that I am a failure."
