"I Would Rather Be Seen As Up-and-coming Artiste Than Retiring" - Terry G Responds To Critics
Nigerian singer and rapper, Gabriel Oche Amanyi, popularly known as Terry G, has sent a strong message to his critics.
The 'Run Mad' crooner, stated that in the current stage of his career, he wouldn't mind being seen as an up-and-coming artiste.
According to him, one can only be seen as a legend after retiring, however, he's not retiring soon.
Hitting back at his critics, who have slammed him for chasing clout on social media, Terry G stressed that if he is seen as chasing clout, he should be left alone, as he is fully focused on his musical career.
Terry G made this known on the popular microblogging platform, X formerly known as Twitter.
He wrote:
“I fully embrace being seen as an upcoming artist. You only become a legend when you retire—and I’m never retiring. So if you catch me chasing clout, let me be.”
