"I Am A Living Testimony That When Grace Speaks, Destiny Listens" - Neo Akpofure Recounts Life-changing Encounter Of Ten Years Ago
Popular reality star and actor, Neo Akpofure, has shared his encounter with music executive Don Jazzy, ten years ago, and how it changed his life for good.
The former Big Brother Naija housemate took to his Instagram page to share a photo of himself and MAVIN boss, Don Jazzy, stating that in moments of doubt and uncertainty, grace has always found him.
He recounted how ten years ago, he was uncertain about life, before randomly being selected out of thousands as the winner of the MTV Base “A Day with Don Jazzy” @mtnng trivia, which he spent N60 answering questions about Don Jazzy.
According to him, that moment marked the beginning of a new era in his life and career, revealing that despite being unable to receive the full obligations of his win due to writing exams at the time, he still gained a lot that contributed to his success today.
Noting how it is already a decade since the life-changing incident, Neo appreciated Don Jazzy for unknowingly inspiring his dreams, giving gratitude to God for keeping every promise He made to him.
He further declared that he is a living testimony that destiny listens when grace speaks.
He wrote:
"Destiny may know my name, but grace has never failed to find me in moments of doubt and uncertainty.
Ten years ago, at a time when I questioned so much about my future, I was randomly selected out of thousands as the winner of the MTV Base “A Day with Don Jazzy” @mtnng trivia. I had spent just N60 answering questions about Don Jazzy, not knowing that those few clicks would open a door I never imagined.
The prize was an all-expense-paid trip with Don Jazzy and the Mavin crew to South Africa for an award show. Unfortunately, I couldn’t make it because of my exams at Unical. Yet, God still showed up for me. I was flown to Lagos to meet Don Jazzy, and to my shock, I was given a N500,000 compensation.
That single encounter changed my life. It made me believe that I could truly be whoever I wanted to be. It reignited a fire in me that no circumstance could put out.
Today, a decade later, I look back with so much gratitude. To my @donjazzy , who without even knowing, re-inspired my dreams—thank you. To God, who has kept every promise He made to me—thank you.
I am a living testimony that when grace speaks, destiny listens."
