Popular Nigerian celebrity chef, Hilda Baci, is celebrating the 50th birthday of her mum, today, August 16.

Taking to her Instagram page to share stunning photos of the celebrant, the Guinness world record holder noted that today's celebration is not just about number, but the celebration of a woman whose life is full of strength, love, and sacrifice.

"Today we celebrate not just a number, but a woman whose life is full of strength, love, and sacrifice."

Praising her mum for being selfless, Hilda stated that she has poured so much into her and everyone around her, crediting her mum for everything she has become today.

"My mum is one of the most selfless, supportive, and giving people I know. She has poured so much of herself into her children and everyone around her, and I can honestly say that who I am today is because I am my mother's daughter."

Noting how her mum has battled numerous challenges, she praised her for still showing love and support, while thanking God for keeping her healthy and thriving.

She wrote:
"She has faced challenges, made sacrifices, and even in her mistakes, she's given me the gift of wisdom and the courage to choose better. Her love has always been unwavering, her support endless, and her joy contagious.

I am grateful for her life, for how far God has brought her, and for the fact that she is happy, healthy, and thriving. Mum, you are a blessing not only to me but to everyone who knows you. I'm so proud to be your child, and I pray for many, many more years of love, laughter, and fulfillment for you.
