Popular Nollywood actress, Opeyemi Aiyelola, has been thrown into a mourning mood over the death of a loved one.

Taking to her Instagram page to express sadness by sharing a picture of a white bird, the actress revealed that she is unable to sleep, as her heart is heavy, and she can't stop crying.

She explained that the love of the individual has pierced her heart deeply, noting how she is unable to post the person's picture.

Expressing grief, she prayed for the soul of the departed, adding that she will continually pray for the person's soul.

She wrote:
"Sleep fail me, heart so heavy, can’t stop these tears from falling.

Haa, you’ve pierced my heart so deeply.
Your pictures are too beautiful and special to be uploaded with RIP inscribed.

The last time we spoke, it was with so many tears, and I begged you so much not to give up the fight.

I begged you not to give me a reason to weep.
I begged you not to allow death to win.

Haaa Jehovah!!
Some people believe praying for the departed is worthless, but not me.

I will continuously pray for your sweet soul to rest peacefully.
