Singer Magixx Reveals Reason Behind Dwindling Number Of Breakout Artistes
Nigerian singer, Alexander Adelabu, professionally known as Magixx, has revealed the reason behind the decline in the number of breakout artistes in the Nigerian music industry.
According to the 'Love Don't Cost A Dime' hitmaker, many artistes are now dependent on the use of streaming bots to boost their number of streams.
The MAVIN signee made this claim on the popular microblogging platform X formerly known as Twitter, stating that numerous artistes have employed the services of streaming bots in order to dominate music charts and streaming platforms.
Stressing the impact of the use of streaming farms, Magixx asserted that it is responsible for the reduction in the number of breakout artistes.
He wrote on X:
"Just so y’all know, the reason why we don’t have enough breakout artists these days is because almost every spot on Apple Music is bought!."
