Nigerian singer, Alexander Adelabu, professionally known as Magixx, has revealed the reason behind the decline in the number of breakout artistes in the Nigerian music industry.

‎According to the 'Love Don't Cost A Dime' hitmaker, many artistes are now dependent on the use of streaming bots to boost their number of streams.

‎The MAVIN signee made this claim on the popular microblogging platform X formerly known as Twitter, stating that numerous artistes have employed the services of streaming bots in order to dominate music charts and streaming platforms.

‎Stressing the impact of the use of streaming farms, Magixx asserted that it is responsible for the reduction in the number of breakout artistes.

‎"Just so y’all know, the reason why we don’t have enough breakout artists these days is because almost every spot on Apple Music is bought!."
