"Igbo Traditional Religion Will Never Demand Human Sacrifice From You" - Yul Edochie
Controversial Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has shed light on the Igbo traditional religion.
The founder of True Salvation Ministry, who has been vocal about addressing misconceptions about the Igbo traditional religion, took to his Instagram page to reiterate his stance.
He emphasized that the Igbo traditional religion will never demand human sacrifice from anyone.
He urged everyone to arrest and report any traditionalist that requires human blood or human sacrifice in the guise of Igbo tradition.
Yul further revealed that "The items used for thanksgiving in Omenaani are chicken, goat, ram, and cow," stressing that they are the same sacrifices used in church, while reiterating that it is forbidden to take human life in Igbo traditional religion.
He wrote:
"Omenaani (Igbo Traditional Religion) will never demand human sacrifice from you.
NEVER.
Any traditionalist that tells you to bring human blood or human sacrifice and calls it Omenaani is a criminal and should be arrested immediately.
The items used for thanksgiving in Omenaani are chicken, goat, ram, and cow.
Same things you take to church for Thanksgiving.
Omenaani forbids you from taking human life.
But be rest assured that anyone planning your downfall will go down.
The spirits will ensure that."
