‎Popular Nigerian record label boss, Michael Collins Ajere, best known as Don Jazzy, has warned against being gifted free gifts.

‎The MAVIN records boss bemoaned how he was gifted an Nkwobi by a food vendor, who later requested for Afrobeats star Rema to perform for free in exchange for the gift.

‎Reacting in a viral video on Instagram, Don Jazzy stressed that he no longer wants free gift again. He also questioned the exchange rate of Nkwobi for Rema by the food vendor.

‎He said:
‎"Out of nowhere you give me free nkwobi that I didn’t ask for, which you insisted. I accepted and ate it. Suddenly, you want me to return the favour — you’re asking me to give you Rema?

‎“How does it even add up? Is the exchange rate for me? Because of nkwobi?”

‎"No one should give me free gift again. I don’t want it."
