‎"My Son Arrived At 30 Weeks; Spent 25 Days In The NICU" - Chizzy Alichi Welcomes First Child

By Oluwarantimi Oludase

‎Congratulations have been pouring in the Nollywood industry as popular actress, Chizzy Alichi, has finally welcomed her first child.

‎The Nigerian Voice recalls that Chizzy Alichi, via her Instagram page in April, shared her baby bump, while captioning it with: ‎“He made everything beautiful at this time.

‎Ecclesiastes 3:11."

‎Taking to her Instagram page, the actress announced that she has given birth to a baby boy. She appreciated God for what He has done for her and her family.

‎Disclosing details about her child's birth, she revealed that her son arrived at 30 weeks, spent 3 weeks and 4 days (25 days) in the Neonatal Intensive care unit, NICU.

‎According to her, it was the most difficult time of her life - beginning from when a medical condition was detected during her pregnancy to weekly scan, bed rest at home, and sometimes in the hospital.

‎She disclosed how she was down during that period, and had to pray, including: joining different online prayers, paying tithe in different churches both online and offline, and also carrying out charity.

‎Captioning the photo of her new born child, she wrote:

‎"My boy is here

‎I don't even know where to start from but all I can say is Thank you God Almighty for what you have done for me and my family

‎"My son actually arrived a while ago (at 30 weeks) spent 3weeks and 4day (25days) in the NICU

‎It was the most difficult time of my life. From when a medical condition was detected while I was pregnant to weekly scan, bedrest at home and sometimes in the hospital. I cried, I prayed/joined different online prayers, I paid tithes in different churches both online and offline (I said maybe God is angry because I wasn't paying enough tithes, lol) it's funny to me now but it wasn't then, I was just doing everything that came to my head. Chapel was my second home (I'm a catholic). I did so many charity both at the orphanage homes and on the streets.

‎My father's portrait wasn't left out, I always pray with it because I was very close to him and immediately he died, I knew he will come back to me, I'm like " papa I thought you are coming back to me, what is going on, you don't want to come again?" hmmm I can't even explain everything that happened but all I can say is that God is too faithful to fail and those that put their trust in him can NEVER be put to shame. God is the greatest

‎My cutest Kenechukwu is home and he's perfect."
