‎Afrobeats star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has boasted that his talent has put him at the forefront of the Afrobeats genre.

‎The DMW boss stressed that one of the things American artistes enjoy about collaborating with him is his ability to blend with their style, or they switch to Afrobeats.

‎He, however, explained that he cannot sing trap genre better than American rappers Gunna and Young Thug, but nobody comes close to him in Afrobeats.

‎Speaking in a recent interview with Apple Music’s Ebro Darden, Davido said:

‎"One of the good things that American artists like about collaborating with me is that, it’s either we meet in the middle or you just do it my way [Afrobeats]. That’s how it is. Like I said, I can’t sing trap better than Gunna or Young Thug, or sing R&B better than Chris Brown, but nobody can sing Afrobeats like me.”
