"I Love My Gay Friends, But I Am Not Gay" - Actor Uzor Arukwe Addresses Rumours About His Sexuality
Popular Nigerian actor, Uzor Arukwe, has dismissed the allegations of him being gay.
The actor, who was alleged to be queer dismissed the claims, and described it as the worst rumour he has ever heard about himself.
He further explained that he has a lot of gay friends, and he loves them, but he is not a gay, and he won't agree to what he is not.
Speaking during a recent appearance on the Unfiltered and Extra Spicy’ show, Uzor Arukwe said:
"The worst rumour I have ever heard about myself was that I’m a gay. I was shocked to my bones, but at the same time I was excited because I heard that you will blow when people start saying those kinds of things about you, so I told myself, ‘this must be it.
“I have a lot of gay friends, and I love them. They are my friends so I know their sexuality, and I love them to death. I have nothing against them whatsoever.
“But I’m not a gay, and I won’t agree to what I am not. For me, let God be the judge. If it is my sexuality, I would own it. I will be one of the hottest around."
