Fatai Odunsin, rumoured to be the father of popular Nigerian singer Ahmed Ololade, widely known as Asake, has called out the singer for allegedly neglecting him.

In a now-viral video circulating online, Fatai accused Asake of abandoning him since March 2022, when his battle with stroke began.

He claimed that he has repeatedly tried calling the singer, but Asake has refused to answer his calls. Fatai appealed to Nigerians for financial support to help him cope with his illness.

In the viral video, Fatai Odunsin said:
"Good day everyone, I’m the one that gave birth to Ahmed Asake the singer.

“The last time I set my eyes on him was March 2022 when my sickness started. If I called Asake, he won’t pick. Please help me, it is your help that I need."
