Portable Surrenders At Lagos SCID, Transferred To Ogun State Police Headquarters In Abeokuta For Investigation
Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has finally been transported to the Ogun State Police Headquarters in Abeokuta, hours after voluntarily turning himself in.
The Nigerian Voice reported that Portable was declared wanted on Monday night by the Ogun State Police Command over allegations of leading a violent attack on officials from the Ogun State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development.
The singer willingly surrendered himself at the Lagos State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in Yaba, from where he was transported to the Ogun State Police Headquarters.
The Ogun State Police Command spokesperson, CSP Omotola Odutola, confirmed the singer's arrival, stating that it marks the beginning of a formal investigation into his alleged involvement in the attack on Ogun State officials.
In addition, Odutola urged the public to remain calm and avoid spreading unverified information, while assuring them of a thorough and due investigation process.
She said:

The Ogun State Police Command remains committed to upholding justice and maintaining public order."
